Australia's government has ordered emergency evacuations along its east coast after heavy rain set off the worst floods in 60 years.
At least 40 flood warnings have been issued and thousands of people in Sydney are being asked to leave their homes after rivers in New South Wales burst their banks.
The state premier says this is a one-in-100-year disaster.

Al Jazeera's Victoria Gatenby reports.
