Hong Kong and Singapore will launch their long-delayed travel bubble, with each city allowing quarantine-free entry from the other Asian air hub from May 26, 2021. Announcing the arrangements on April 26, officials from both sides said they believe sufficient progress has been made in containing Covid-19 outbreaks to make it safe for residents to travel without isolating upon arrival. Plans to start the travel bubble in November 2020 were put on hold by a case surge in Hong Kong.
