Officials in the UK are urging caution, and expanding some emergency services-- as the country braces for extreme heat.
Temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days, and a national emergency has been declared.
People are being asked to avoid public transportation, and look out for the elderly and children.
