Uncertainty persists over US sanctions against Iran

Some sanctions against Iran continue to be suspended by the Trump administration, as part of the Obama era nuclear deal. Officials insist this is only an interim measure before a final decision by the US president next month. The White House has also introduced new non-nuclear sanctions on Iranian nationals over allegations of cyberattacks.
