US activists decry 'tidal wave' of voter suppression laws

Civil rights activists in the United States say a "tidal wave" of voter suppression laws is being proposed in more than 40 states, after record turnout in November's election.
At least 250 bills, mostly put forward by Republicans, could restrict voter access after unfounded allegations of election fraud.
Critics say it is a systematic attempt to make it harder for minorities to cast their ballots.
