US pledges $600m in Pacific, opens two embassies

The United States has pledged $600m in funding for Pacific nations at a key regional summit, as well as the opening of two new embassies in Tonga and Kiribati.
Vice President Kamala Harris made the virtual address in Fiji, as the US seeks to counter China's growing heft in the region.
