US to share up to 60 million doses of AstraZeneca COVID vaccine

The United States has announced it will send up to 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to needy countries including India, which is facing an unprecedented surge in coronavirus cases.
President Joe Biden called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and pledged to provide emergency assistance.
The international community has criticised the US for hoarding its vaccine supplies.
