Venezuela: Main opposition parties barred from 2018 presidential vote

Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro announced that the country's main opposition parties will be banned from taking part in next year's presidential election.

It comes amid his ruling that the Socialist Party won at least 90-percent of the 335 mayoral seats in Sunday's local elections.
