Vietnam braces for typhoon as Philippine rescue efforts continue

After leaving a trail of devastation across the southern Philippines, Tropical Storm Tembin is heading towards Vietnam. Thousands have fled low-lying areas, while the capital, Ho Chi Minh City, has closed schools.

Tembin made landfall in the Philippines late on Friday, causing flash floods and landslides, and killing more than 200 people. A state of emergency has been declared in several areas as rescue efforts continue.
