Election reform is one of the biggest political battles of the year in the United States after former President Donald Trump and his fans insisted the last election was “stolen".

Republican lawmakers in 33 states are proposing restrictions on voter registration and voting.

Senate Democrats are pushing the “For the People Act” to greatly increase the number of registered voters and make voting easier.
