Pres. Biden has come out in support of a Democratic House proposal that calls for the $1,400 direct payments being phased out for eligible Americans making more than $75,000 a year. He announced his support yesterday during a meeting with prominent business leaders—including Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase and Walmart CEO Doug McMillon—where he also asked for their insights on his $1.9 trillion economic proposal.
