It is the US’s largest state, but Alaska is sparsely populated and known for its harsh terrain - with several villages only accessible by boat or plane.
Yet, it is being hailed as a vaccine success story.
Nearly 40 percent of its people have received at least one dose, and Alaska is the first US state to offer the jabs to everyone from the age of 16.
